Mossdeep City Cosmics

This is part of a series of logos I'm making where I take a pokemon gym and create a fictional sports team logos based off of the gym, the city, and a pokemon the gym leader uses. This logo is part of the third set of logos I'm doing which is based off of the Hoenn region. The previous sets can be found here.

This is the twenty-third one which is based off of the Mossdeep City gym, and I've named them the Mossdeep City Cosmics. Solrock is the pokemon I've chosen.

For each logo I'm going to be trying to keep the number of colours to a minimum, so the logos reduce to two colour well. I'm also aiming for heavily stylised in most cases, so logos might be text heavy, or contain images that look nothing like the pokemon in question. I hope by the end of this to have some really nice logos.

I'm really not sure on the bright colours I chose for this, but I also wanted to choose bright colours cause I just feel like some of my last logos are darker and similar in colour. So I think I might of went overboard a little here to counteract that. Either way I like the colours I chose for this, I'm just not sure on the background. I'm also impressed I was able to get the feel of the logo right. Also, when I started doing this logo I was unsure of which pokemon, and by default, which trainer to choose for it. So, because of the look I was going for I chose Solrock.
